Home educating children with autism

Putting it all together

Tip of the Week

The best times to achieve eye contact, imitation and communication is when you are goofing off, sitting together on the couch or the chair.
Do what they are doing and it may take some time but they will watch you and then try to get you to copy them. Before you know if you can introduce new sounds, words or expressions.
And this is a completely enjoyable no pressure experience for you and your child.
